GTA Advance: quick answer and scope

GTA Advance cheats are entered using platform-specific words or button sequences. This guide collects documented built-in entries, explains activation and separates edition limits. Choose your platform before copying a code; GTA games do not all share one input method.

How to enter the codes

Return to ordinary gameplay and use the directions and buttons in the matching table. PC words are typed as game codes; console sequences are pressed in order. Do not automatically substitute Xbox for PlayStation or PS2 for PSP. GTA Advance first requires its cheat mode, explained below. Look for the game’s confirmation before repeating an entry.

Useful cheats: what each effect changes

GTA Advance has its own cheat mode: hold A and B and press Start during play to enable it, then enter a listed sequence. Enabling the mode does not automatically apply every effect. Health, weapons and cash are requested separately. Direction order matters, even though its top-down view recalls the earliest GTA games.

First press A + B + START together during play and check the Cheat Mode message. Then enter one of the nine sequences. Several start with LEFT, RIGHT, UP, DOWN, but their final buttons determine the effect: health, armour and cash have different endings. Mission selection also has its own sequence and is not the same as continuing a save.

Codes and combinations by platform

Open your platform’s group. Each row pairs an effect with its input; counts describe rows rather than unique effects. Code words and button sequences remain untranslated.

Editions, limits and common mistakes

These nine entries belong to Game Boy Advance. An emulator may remap physical keyboard keys, but the logical sequence still refers to GBA buttons. These are not GameShark or Action Replay strings and require no external master code. Rockstar’s catalogue image identifies GTA Advance; a logo is labelled as such rather than as gameplay.

Saving, undoing effects and continuing without cheats

Keep a separate save before experimenting. Re-entering a code does not reverse every effect, and editions can behave differently. An earlier save is the clearest route back to a previous state; check mission or achievement restrictions for your edition afterwards. Tables come from checked documentation, without claiming hands-on testing of every sequence on every machine.
