What this complete GTA 5 list includes

This guide collects 36 GTA 5 native-code and special-number entries for Story Mode: health, weapons, abilities, world changes and vehicle spawning, plus Director Mode and the black cellphone. It includes PC commands, PlayStation and Xbox sequences and phone numbers for supported editions. These are neither GTA 6 cheats nor GTA Online tools. Some extras depend on edition and prior unlocks, explained below. Reviewed October 30, 2026.

Before starting: make a separate save

Make a separate manual save before experimenting. Cheats disable achievements or trophies during the affected session; return to a normal session by loading the clean save or restarting and checking that effects are cleared. Avoid habitually overwriting your only save while testing. Not every effect switches off by repeating the sequence: some cycle through levels and others require reloading. An attractive screenshot or mod video does not establish an equivalent native cheat.

How to enter codes on PC, console or phone

On PC, open the command console using the key corresponding to ~ on your keyboard layout, then enter the table’s word. On PlayStation or Xbox, enter the complete sequence in Story Mode; arrows refer to the D-pad, not analogue-stick movement. On supported editions, open the in-game phone, enter Contacts, display the keypad and dial the number. Wait for the activation message. These are fictional in-game numbers, not calls to make from a real phone.

All PC commands and phone numbers

Use the literal number rather than deriving every digit from the command’s spelling. Documented differences include CATCHME and LIQUOR. A dash means no command of that input type is provided. Dodo, Kraken and Duke O’Death require unlocks; Director Mode depends on edition. Phone cheats are unavailable on the original PS3 and Xbox 360 releases.

PlayStation combinations: PS5, PS4 and classic codes

Legend: ○ is Circle, △ Triangle, □ Square and × the controller’s Cross button; L1/L2/R1/R2 are the named buttons. Enter inputs in the displayed order. Classic sequences also apply on PS3 where that effect exists, but do not add features exclusive to later editions. “—” indicates another input method or edition-dependent entry, not an unknown sequence to guess.

Xbox combinations: Series and Xbox One

A, B, X and Y are Xbox’s lettered buttons. LB/RB are bumpers and LT/RT are triggers. Do not substitute Xbox X for PlayStation Cross: these are separate tables. Classic inputs also apply on Xbox 360 for effects present in that version; phone cheats and later vehicles do not become available through an older sequence. If a cheat is denied, check the restrictions below first.

Health, weapons and invincibility: important differences

TURTLE restores health and armour; PAINKILLER activates five-minute invincibility. They are different effects. TOOLUP provides a weapon/ammunition set, not money or a promise of infinite ammo. POWERUP refills the controlled protagonist’s special ability. LAWYERUP removes one wanted star per entry rather than universally erasing consequences with one call. Several functions are restricted during missions; a denial does not mean you need to download an app.

Special vehicles and the PCJ/Sanchez mix-up

ROCKET corresponds to the PCJ 600 and OFFROAD to the Sanchez. Some lists interchange their names; these entries were checked against GTABase and the respective numbers. Dodo requires Sea Plane, Duke O’Death requires Duel, and Kraken requires the Wildlife Photography Challenge, on editions including that content. These extras are not native to the original PS3/Xbox 360 releases. Allow sufficient room when spawning: tight spaces or a mission may prevent appearance.

World effects, slow motion and Director Mode

SLOWMO and DEADEYE differ: one affects general speed, the other aiming. The checked sources describe successive levels and deactivation on the fourth entry. MAKEITRAIN changes weather; SNOWDAY changes grip and should not be interpreted as guaranteed snowfall. SKYFALL is not the same as receiving a parachute. Director Mode and the black cellphone are additional entries with particular availability or effects; neither provides GTA Online advantages. Check edition availability if Director Mode is absent from your menus.

What does not exist and how to handle a denied cheat

There is no native unlimited-money code or sequence spawning every vehicle seen in mod videos. These codes do not transfer to GTA 6. If one fails, check Story Mode, platform, input order, available space and unlocks, then whether the mission restricts it. Return to a clean save if necessary. No subscription, money generator, external executable or supposed activation key is required to use this guide’s combinations.

Sources and information status

Reviewed October 30, 2026 against GamesRadar+ and GTABase. Codes are transcribed as game-reference data; explanations are original. A PCJ/Sanchez inversion was corrected and literal source numbers retained rather than generated from letters. We have not executed every combination on every platform. Images are authentic GTA V promotional material on PlayStation’s official listing, with Rockstar Games rights; they are neither GTA VI images nor our own captures.
