What living in Leonida means
The roleplay described for GTA VI means spending time in Jason and Lucia’s world beyond completing missions. On October 29, 2026, TweakTown highlighted Aaron Garbut’s comments to Edge about shopping, taking a train or visiting a club. Simon Parkin’s original feature puts this in context: everyday activities within a crime adventure with defined protagonists.
A day of activities, rather than a mandatory job
The interesting consequence is pacing: travelling can become part of the experience rather than merely a way to reach a mission. In our analysis, this gives exploration and action room to alternate. It does not confirm civilian jobs, salaries, selectable professions or a timetable requiring meals at a particular hour. None of those rules follows from the remark about living in the game.

Why this does not announce GTA RP or a new FiveM
GTA RP usually refers to multiplayer servers and communities with roleplaying characters and rules. Garbut’s statement describes choices within GTA VI; it does not introduce server tools, a roleplay client or an online-mode release date. Check which meaning a headline uses before assuming that it promises registration, professions or moderators for a shared city.
Routines do not replace Jason and Lucia’s story
Safehouses and shared activities give the open world a more personal scale. Our homes guide explains story-linked safehouse changes; our relationship guide examines life together. Related systems do not establish that players can create any biography or remove narrative restrictions. The described freedom concerns choosing activities at particular moments, rather than guaranteeing a written response to every possible action.

How to assess depth without overstating promises
When assessing this approach in play, we suggest three checks: whether journeys offer meaningful decisions, whether routines fit the characters and whether returning to a place produces coherent variety. These are FansGTA’s review criteria, not finished-game test results. The official images illustrate Leonida and its protagonists; they do not demonstrate servers or job-selection menus.
