Quick answer: preordering is not immediate access
On October 28, 2026 PS Store offered digital Standard and Ultimate preorders, while Xbox’s official page advertised preorders for Series X|S. The sources list November 19 for launch. We did not find a public full-game download playable on the checking date. PS Store’s advertised preload is a later stage: buying, obtaining files and having permission to play are different actions.
1. Check your console, account and market
The verified platforms are PS5 and Xbox Series X|S; PlayStation excludes PS4. Generic Windows wording in a commercial template does not prove a PC version: check the product’s platform field and publisher announcements. Use the correct account, connection and a payment method accepted in its market. Prices here concern the United States; the language of this guide does not change them into Spanish or French market prices.
2. Open an official store and check these prices

3. Choose an edition: full game and upgrade are different
Standard includes GTA VI. Ultimate includes the game and Ultimate Edition Upgrade with store-described extras. A separately listed upgrade is not the base game. The US listings show Vintage Vice City Pack, a month of GTA+ and seven-day preload among preorder elements. We do not extend these conditions to every platform or store.
The promotional GTA+ month requires redemption steps and may continue as a paid subscription until cancelled. The listing states account and claim-date limits; review terms before activating.
