Trace every claim

When a headline promises a new feature, look for the supporting link. Check who first published the claim and whether other sites are simply repeating it. Ten articles citing the same anonymous post still depend on a single source, not ten independent confirmations.

Separate observation from interpretation

A vehicle appearing in a video allows discussion of that scene. It does not automatically prove that it can be bought, customised or driven in every situation. The same distinction applies to buildings, supporting characters and possible activities. An interpretation can be useful as long as it is clearly presented as an interpretation.

Keep a short source list

Bookmark the official website and Rockstar’s channel. Before sharing a story, open the original source and check its date. Be wary of downloads promising early access in return for your login details. Reading a public announcement never requires handing over your account password.

Following theories without losing critical judgement

A good theory can start with a visible detail and still remain a theory. Record the observation, proposed interpretation and missing evidence. A character listening to communications can prompt discussion of surveillance without proving playable hacking. Separating those layers lets fans debate and update an idea when new material arrives instead of defending it as fact.

When sharing news, include the original title, link and a precise summary of what it confirms. If the interesting point is a question, keep it a question. Do not turn “could” into “will”. FansGTA labels information, analysis and theory so readers know the type before reading, with sources for further checking.
