What PlayStation actually announces for GTA VI

PlayStation’s official page lists Tempest 3D audio, fast SSD loading, haptic feedback, adaptive triggers and the DualSense speaker for GTA VI. We checked it on October 28, 2026. These are platform-published features, not conclusions from a leak. The page also displays PS5 Pro Enhanced; that label alone does not establish a frame rate, resolution or measured advantage over another console.

DualSense: three distinct features, not just vibration

Haptics convey sensations through vibration; adaptive triggers add dynamic resistance; the speaker can reinforce sound effects. They serve different purposes. PlayStation connects them to the experience across Leonida and Vice City but does not give a specific configuration for every weapon or vehicle. We do not assign effects to actions the source has not described.

Tempest 3D and SSD: interpreting the presentation

Sony highlights sound positioning and the PS5 SSD. This identifies the technologies it promotes, not an independent stopwatch test. Marketing language about speed does not prove loading screens never occur or quantify every audio setup. Comparing times or quality requires published test conditions and equivalent versions.

PS5 Pro Enhanced is not confirmation of 60 fps

The label identifies the game as enhanced for PS5 Pro. The consulted material did not provide a graphics-mode table with resolution and frame rate to reproduce here. We therefore do not present 60 fps, 4K or a specific ray-tracing setup as automatic consequences. Future specifications or independent tests may add detail without changing the features confirmed here.

PS4, Xbox and questions this page does not settle

PlayStation explicitly states GTA VI will not be playable on PS4. Rockstar lists PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, but PS5 features do not prove Xbox lacks comparable functions or establish a PC date. For purchasing, see our preorder guide: it separates edition, market and download status. That is more useful than turning a promotional phrase into an automatic buying decision.

Platform information and purchase instructions answer different questions: which versions are announced, and how to check a transaction through official stores. Keeping them separate avoids republishing the same topic and lets features, prices and availability be updated in the right place. This is not a review or a claim to have tested the final game.
