Who can claim the offer
A qualifying digital Standard or Ultimate purchase of GTA VI before November 20, 2026 includes an offer for one GTA+ month at no extra cost. We checked the terms on October 28. Preordering and claiming the subscription are separate actions: seeing the game in your library does not mean the month has started. Use the purchasing account and check whether your regional store participates before proceeding.
1. Claim the PlayStation Store offer
1. Sign in with the PlayStation account that bought the game and check its confirmation email. 2. Open the GTA+ product page linked from Sony’s official offer terms. 3. Check that the promotional transaction adds no initial charge, then follow the instructions. Sony gives March 31, 2027 as the claim deadline. Save the confirmation and note the next payment date shown during activation.
2. Use Offers & Credits in Microsoft Store
1. Open Microsoft Store using the account that purchased digital GTA VI. 2. Find the promotion under Offers & Credits, the section named by Rockstar’s instructions. 3. Review the terms and confirm redemption. This platform uses a 180-day period from the qualifying purchase, rather than Sony’s fixed date. Check your own order date when working out the deadline; somebody else’s purchase may expire on a different day.
3. Decide what happens at renewal
The month continues as a paid monthly subscription unless cancelled. Before accepting, read the amount in your account’s currency and its billing date; a price from another country is not a reliable guide. If you do not want to continue, use your platform’s subscription management before the next payment. For existing members, Rockstar says the redeemed month extends the current subscription and moves the next billing date back.
If the offer is missing
Check the account, store, purchase type and deadline first. A separately purchased Ultimate upgrade does not qualify for Sony’s offer. Redemption is account-limited, and Rockstar says refunding then preordering again does not produce another month. If the purchase appears eligible but the offer is still missing, keep the receipt and contact the store’s support. Repeated purchases or sharing account passwords are not sensible troubleshooting steps.
This month does not confirm GTA 6 Online
GTA+ and GTA VI are separate products. The promotion provides access to the subscription and its available benefits; it does not establish that GTA VI belongs to its games library or that a new online mode is ready for launch. Check the current GTA+ library before activation if you want a particular game, because its selection can change.
Frequently asked questions
Can I wait before activating? Yes, within the applicable claim period. The purchase deadline and redemption deadline are different.
Can I give the month to another account? Sony ties it to the purchasing account; do not treat it as a transferable voucher.
Does it let me play GTA VI early? No. Activating GTA+ does not bring forward the release date or turn a preorder into early access.
