The short answer: the game is not in the box
The official GTA VI Collector’s Box does not include the game: Rockstar Store states this explicitly. Named The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection, it is a collection of physical merchandise. Checked on October 28, 2026, that distinction separates two decisions: obtaining GTA VI for a platform and buying a collectible set.
The eleven items listed for the collection
The official list starts with four pieces: a Macca the Gator figure, Oakley Frogskins sunglasses, a Leonida Keys crossbody bag and a New Era 9FORTY cap. These are physical objects inspired by the game’s world, not vehicles, clothing or advantages added to a saved game.
It also includes a Macca magnetic mirror, a Chunkee the Manatee shot glass, a decorative Vice City spoon and a razor-blade-style keychain. Check the listing’s materials and measurements when assessing these pieces: a merchandising image alone does not establish how they will fit your display space.
The eleven-item list is completed by Leonida Keys enamel pins in a metal tin, stickers supplied in a stash bag and a double-sided poster featuring a Leonida map. The poster is part of the physical collection. Its inclusion does not mean you are buying a GTA VI licence or Ultimate’s digital extras.
Collector’s Box, Standard and Ultimate are different purchases
Standard includes the game, while Ultimate combines the game with an upgrade offering digital extras. The collectible box replaces neither licence. It should also not be confused with the boxed Standard version, which Rockstar describes as a package containing a download code. If your aim is to play, identify your platform and game edition first; then decide whether you also want the collectible objects.
How to check an order without mixing up products
1. Open the official listing and check the full product name. 2. Make sure the basket distinguishes the collection from any game purchase. 3. Check the shipping destination, currency and total including charges before paying. 4. Read the delivery, cancellation and return conditions applying to that order. We do not quote a monetary figure here without an unambiguous market or automatically convert prices for readers in another country.
Availability and gifting: what to confirm before deciding
Rockstar announced the collection as a limited offering. That does not guarantee stock, availability in your country or the arrival date of an individual parcel. When buying it as a gift, explain that the game is not included and check whether the recipient already owns a compatible licence. Keep the order confirmation: tracking physical merchandise and downloading a game are separate processes.
FAQ: the collector’s box and the game
Does it include a GTA VI disc or download code? No: the game is sold separately. Is it another way to buy Ultimate? No; physical merchandise and digital extras are different products. Is it the same box as physical Standard? No: Rockstar’s boxed Standard contains a game code; this collection contains objects. Use our official-store guide when buying a game licence.
