The answer and source
Holding Game Pass, PlayStation Plus or GTA+ does not itself mean owning GTA VI. PlayStation’s official listing calls it a single-player experience, while Rockstar’s store offers it separately. The checked references provide no announcement of Game Pass or PS Plus catalogue inclusion. The promotional GTA+ month should not be presented as free access to GTA VI.
What is documented
There are three different questions: whether a subscription includes the licence, whether a mode requires a subscription and whether membership adds perks. A preorder promotion can answer the third without answering the first. GTA V appearing in a catalogue at one point does not establish GTA VI joining on the same date or terms.
How to check and avoid confusion
Open GTA VI’s platform listing, check for a separate purchase or explicit catalogue inclusion and read the offer terms. PlayStation describes the announced campaign as single player; we do not extrapolate requirements for a separate future multiplayer mode. Streaming reports need an additional check: streaming an owned licence is not the same as the game being included.
